Bruno Novo
Oryctolagus cuniculus, its his scientific name. The rabbit is the basis of many
food chains so, his presence is very important as a way of supporting
predators like the wolf, the lynx, the imperial eagle ...
However, the lacking shrubs cover, diseases that decimate thousands, the sometimes unregulated hunting, the fires ... his reduced numbers
greatly increases the difficulty of stabilizing those predators. I do not know
if ever this Iberian corner will have in the coming years, the regular occurrence of
these mammals but it would be good, it would be! There is for now to be happy to see ... one
rabbit!
PS It was not possible to pass alongside the mythical figures of Walt
Disney - Bugs Bunny and Sammy Smith. I, as Sammy, "weapon" in hand ready
to "fire" and that Bugs, to conjecture the next match preaching (for instance - I wont show
up more than 10 seconds for this guy! He shall regreat coming at 6:00 to have ony a glimps of me! Whats up Doc?).
